A note from the founder

Real conviction comes from expertise, not gut feel.

For years, at OC&C and then EY-Parthenon, most recently as Director, I took private equity and corporate M&A clients through commercial due diligence. Every mandate confirmed one certainty: deep sector expertise cannot be replaced. But there was an uncomfortable truth as well: by the time we were briefed, the real decision had often long been made. Our clients had formed their view weeks earlier, mostly on intuition, because little defensible existed that early.

The most important call in any deal happens before the mandate. What it lacked was never effort; it was speed: senior CDD judgment simply took too long for that early moment. AI changed that equation. So we are building the system I always wished my clients had: an evidence-grounded, IC-ready view in days, before the data room opens.

underwritable is not software. It is the finished investment view, enhanced by AI: every claim sourced, every assumption named, defensible in the room. Deep sector expertise, early enough to matter.

So that investment decisions are made on conviction, not intuition.
That is why we created underwritable.
